in case you hadn’t noticed, scarborough literature festival is in full swing. thursday is scarborough writers day with involvement from several creative coast members. festival website here. the festival brochure and logo has been designed by cc members electric angel design.
’shine on’ with stuart cameron of crescent arts will now take place on wednesday 30th april at 6pm. venue: the merchant, eastborough, scarborough.

the event is open to the public from 9pm so do invite your friends (or invite to become members and be there from 7pm!)

creative coast members will ‘pitch’ their business, an idea or a piece of work - in 5 minutes. it’s friendly, useful and good fun. if you want to pitch get in touch with adrian - only 2 places left. everyone welcome to come, listen, learn and lend moral support.

February’s Creative Coast is ‘The 5 Minute Pitch’ - a chance to show to other CC members what it is you do. It works like this… everyone gets 5 minutes to stand up and talk about their work, perhaps show some examples, do a little bit of performance - whatever is appropriate to what they do. It’s so simple and yet so useful - it’s amazing how little people actually know about each other despite probably having had many conversations in the past.
